Annual DOVE HUNT

September 10th, 2011

Come out for a full day of fun!  A round of sporting clays, lunch, afternoon dove hunt, then back to the barn for barbeque and bluegrass.

Schedule of Events

8 am-Noon       

A wagon will transport all persons to and from the SPORTING CLAYS Course.  You will be issued a score card. KEEP IT to enter drawing at 6:30 pm.  You will shoot a 100-shot course. NO PRIVATE VEHICLES will be permitted at the course.

10:45-12:30     

LUNCH will be served in the barn below the main house. Enter your scorecard for the drawing!

NOON – Sunset (6:22 pm)

DOVE HUNT. Each dove hunter will be driven to the dove fields.  WALKING IS PROHIBITED!  Wagons will pass through the fields about every hour, bringing drinks and transporting hunters.  NO ALCOHOL allowed.

4:30 pm-6:30   

Beginning at about 4:30, light snacks will be served.  No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed until you have completed hunting and returned to the barn. Score card drawing for prizes.

6:30 pm

BARBEQUE will be served, provided by Squeaky Pig Barbeque.

5:30 pm to 9:30           

Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band will play.
